people always assume I’m a spoiled ass kid. my friends do, people at work do. we’ll the truth of the matter is.. I AM NOT. we’ll come on, being the youngest in the family, i have got to be spoiled at one time, but seriously, I am not as dependent as I seem to be.
being independent is tough, but I bet I can manage to survive (not for too long tho). bottom line is… I CAN.
having said that, today is my day off, so i managed to get my hands on my dirty laundry and give them a little wash. see - I hand wash them every now and then, sometimes mom or sis would offer to do it for me but most of the time, you’ll find me staying up ’till 2am in the morning hand washing my clothes… OR better yet, right after I get home.
I’m not a person who owns gazillion of clothing…(so i have to wash and use them the next morning sometimes) I own a few and if you’re my size, you’re gonna have a tough time filling up your closet. SERIOUSLY tho, if I was in the universal “normal” size category (an have lots of money)… I bet you I’d need a bigger closet. There’s tons of great clothing around Vancouver and it would’ve been so hard not to shop.
so i took pictures of the process… it’s was a fun yet exciting task. I’ve never hand washed more than 2 pieces of clothing at a time… and today i did about 10(?) or less.
So here’s the clothes I needed to wash.

and I always remember, #1 RULE is to separate the WHITEs from the COLORED ones, to avoid color bleeding.

well obviously you need a clean water. I do my laundry in the washroom sink.

AND HOLY COW… this CLOROX STICK BLEACH thing is the SHIZZZz… i discovered this last year and DARN I was very happy I DID.
forget about tide-to-fcking-go…

after hand-washing the clothing, I usually just hang it in the shower to dry, but since I have quiet a load today, I needed to machine dry them… I wanted to SHRINK them as well so I used HOT WATER for washing and used the hottest dryer setting… and YES it is EFFECTIVE, the shrinkage is very noticeable.

So now that everything is nice and clean.. NEXT STEP is the IRONING PART… and oh boy DID I HATE it… it was horrible… utterly, resounding never again! seriously.. i spent about 45mins doing 1 shirt… It’s VERY TRICKY… how do you iron the front size without wrinkling the OTHER side… how do you iron the shoulder part… they never taught me this in school… not even in ‘home economics’
I was sweating like a pig… and it was bad… i had to do 4shirts… half way through all I have in my head is “WHEN IS THIS THING GOING TO END”… it was humiliating… I’d pay to have my clothes iron like how my parents/sis do it.
but thank GOD i manage to pull through… i would say I’ve done a pretty GOOD job afterall…. considering my experience when it comes to things like this….

WAALAAHHHHHH…. so what do you guys think? AWESOMENESS? ahahaha… thank you. thank you. bow.
we’ll after that whole thing… i put them all back in the closet… I folded those ones to be folded… it’s all about organization baby. lol.

WELL hows that for independancy? NOT BAD ei.
