i just got my notebook back today, the technician ended up backing up all my files — 70gig — then restoring my computer into its factory condition, and then shoving all the files back into my computer… that’s how i understand it… I had to pay him a pretty big buck, better than futureshop i guess, or bestbuy… they sure earn a lotta money from all this…. I mean seriousl, I could imagine that guy setting up the computer to restore… you just have to make sure the comp is plugged into a power outlet then you can let is sit there for how long it’ll take… you can then relax.. drink a tea/coffee… watch jeopardy… then another 10mins of clicking and setting up… then off you go… 3 hours of letting-it-lay there, then BAM… you’re done!… problem fixed… you give the comp back.. then you get your money…

then usually they charge 80$/hr… isn’t that just something… a major something? :eek:

i’ve got all my files back… problem is, my softwares are wiped out… so i spend the last 12hrs re-installing those softwares back… I  am exausted…. I’m goin to bed… ciao!

but still.. I could’ve done it… I could just restore my computer but then I needed my files… can’t afford to loose them so i didn’t have a choice…

 darn, don’t you just hate that?  MY VAIO NOTEBOOK is not working. 

I was working on some ‘computer work’ last night… decided to restart my computer and BAM… windows won’t boot up… WAITED for half an hour (maybe it’s just being slow) but nothing happened… so darn, i had to forced restart it… same thing happen…use the SAFE MODE, didn’t work, tried all the options i have… NOTHING WORKED… been trying to fix it since last night…. it’s past 24hrs now of me WITHOUT my baby (vaio)

I am not very impressed with SONY’s costumer service, I love their product, the brand, and everything but they’re after transaction is NOT very good really.  same as windows’ incompetent operating system… i seriously need a MacBook Pro… darn it… bad timing for such a tragic disaster.

I have a client meeting this wednesday as well… and I’m afraid I will have to cancel that now… I am also working on a website for a group of young talents and I will have to push that for a later due date now… and another fan site… MY GOODNESS… why does this have to happen? stupid windows…. sigh!

Now that I am very attached to my computer, I almost feel like I’m half dead without it…. a little confession, I spend 10+ hours of my time with it EVERYDAY… i feel like i DONT have anything else to do without it!  I hate using this desktop… I’ve been missing my computer 2hours before windows mess it up, and I miss it MORE than anything else now!…. :cage: 

Wednesday night we went out to watch STEP UP 2 the STREET. I think it was alright, didn’t like the storyline… I would say the first STEP UP is a lot better but this one is pretty ok… I’d give it 4/5

I went with April and Roxanne… Kamile missed out cause she’s still in the Philippines, getting some tan.. pffTT… it was nice to hang out with Roxanne and April again, I haven’t seen them for God knows how long… and I did miss them… for more than month I’m all into working and school… don’t even have time to go out for a shopping or something. ahhha.. see, i work in the mall.. and I dont even have time to go around and check out whats been going on… lol….

anywayzz.. after the movie we went for a dinner =) ahhhaa… we went to MILESTONE, and ordered our drinks ONLY to find out that WE don’t really want to eat there cause their selection of foods don’t really interest us… so we decided to go somewhere else… (embarrassing)…

so we ended up eating at MOXIES… good place, good people, good ambiance, and good food… it was a great time… we had some MAJOR laughing scenes that crack the heck out of me… it was a memorable night… too bad Kamile missed out… Oh well… she’s coming back next week… we might have a post valentines day going out… ahhaa!

This time, Roxanne will be missing out cause she’s coming back to Okanagan… sigh!… it was great catching up with friends… listening to whatever stories they have to share.. laughters.. always a good thing!…
