also known as the prom. most grads look forward for this event, so do i. but I’m a lil bit worried and its starting to freak me out. why? I DONT HAVE ANYTHING to wear. and for guys to worry about that is NOT common. I mean we are used to hearing girls freak out since they have so much things to deal with; shoes, DRESS, hair, make up etc. and it’s a lot easier for guys. all we need is a suit/tux, nevermine the hair (well not really), a pair of socks and shoes and we’re set. prom is in less a month. Most girls have their ‘full outfit’ ready, and guys have their shoes polished, while ME, nothing. i dont have anything.

I am not wearing my old sucky suit which is so not cut for my body type. its about 2 size bigger than my original size and it’s frustrating. I tell yha, being a tiny kid isnt FUN at all when it comes to buying suit. oh boy! and my dress shoes is an inch bigger than my actual size. but why did i ended up buying them anyways? BECAUSE i didnt hve a choice.

with only about 20days left, the only option is to go with a costum-made suit. and you know whats the thing about costum-made suits? THEY WOULD COST YOU some good amount of $$$. jacker is about 600+ and a full set is around 1500+ and I don’t think I’d be spending that MUCH money on that. my plan is to minimize the cost as much as I can, so I’m going with just the jacket. then hopefully find some cheap dress shirt to go with it, then tie and dress pants. The sad thing is that CK, Ralph Lauren and Tommy H. have full set suits for around 600-1000$ and we’re talkin about branded suits here, whereas for the same price, you’ll get a costum made suit, made to fit only for you, tailored by some infamous tailorer without the guarantee.

and look what i found, I was watching DIOR HOMME Spring2003 Collection on youtube and found this one a potential look for me. very young, clean, simple, casual and unique looking but not over-the-top. I love every detail and its me.

the problem now is, will this outfit look good on me? will I be able to own this look!? WHAT DO YOU THINK?! sigh. it’s always a very hard decision. I dont have time, suits take about 3 weeks to make and i have to figure everything out before its too late.

remember that entry i made not so long ago about the EXPIRED yogurt? that made me more concious and aware of those “BEST BEFORE” label engraved/printed on my food. lesson learned: always check the expiration dates of foods you’re eating, that incident really kinah slows me down from consuming yogurt during shcool lunch but that didnt stop me from eating yogurt!… I still love it, and still on my very short dessert/snack list.

YOGURT MADNESS… I got off from school today and I was craving for some yogurts berries from TimHortons, so I decided to go straight all the way to Burrard Downtown to get a couple of those yogurt berries. I ended up getting 3. Oo0ooPsss! i got home, ate an early dinner while watching TV.

I happen to flip my channel to LIFE NETWORK and a documentary show was on, it’s called “THE HEAVIEST MAN in the world” and it kinah caught my attention. MAN he was 1200lbs. or 560kilos. dont U just think that unbelievable? I can’t even imagine someone would be THAT heavy. I only weight 85lbs and to see him is just SO shocking. Click. click. click.

well after that i check my yogurts in the fridge and ate 2 of these lovely fatening babies. LOVE IT! I’m over with my “JUs De PoMmE” madness and I switched to Yogurt berries! i dont know but there’s something about it that just caught my taste. maybe its the fresh berries or the yummy yogurt thats in it but whatever it is, i dont care. I taste awesome and thats what counts. I seriously would have this 3x a day. LMAO!

speaking of madness, i also have this thing for BACON & TOMATO. bacon on my left hand, fresh and cruncy tomato on my right hand. bite bite bite left and right! LOVELY! forget about your full plate meal. bacon and tomato rock! i would trade them for anythin, steak? anyone!?

I dont know but I’m very picky when it comes to tomato, i want them fresh, cold, and crunchy. i dont want them soft and ugly like they’ve been juggled by millions of clowns! i dont want them green-ish either, they don’t taste right! and BOOOOHhh for a crunchy and overcooked bacon. Love them when thyr half-cooked, i like it when you can actually chew the meat. overcooked bacon are too crunchy and super hard to bite.

trip was uber fun! tho it was i think OVER PROGRAMMED. im not even gonna start on writing about that because it pisses me off. lets just talk about the good stuff bout the trip.

we were supposed to leave around 11am but we ended up on leaving at 12, something was wrong with the bus and we were told that we have to switch bus. it was horrible since we already loaded ALL OUR stuff so as our intruments and GOD knows how heavy they were. luckily, the bus person managed to fix it and we were lucky enough to leave around 12 noon.

It was pouring rain, I wouldve love it if we had a nice sunny day, wuldve been better but who can control the weather?! no one really. It was a 2-hour-trip and i was too tired to stay up the whole time so i took a nap, i didnt know how long that was but heck it was a good short nap! I wasnt too busy to take pictures with Kamile tho, just like how we did last year for SUNPEAKS MUSIC FESTIVAL.

We got ther around 2-3pm, i’m not sure, i wasnt checking the time, and it was still raining, we had to unload all our stuff while raining and it was damn cold. I was freezing. and we stayed infront of the hotel, standing for the next half and hour because the HOTEL guy forgot our keys , it was pretty lame!

We were the 2nd to the last group to get our Apenglow hotel packages (with our keys, VIP card, pamplets in it), there were 2 elevators. and only one was working. the other was not operating, God knows why! some people used the stairs, we were on the 3rd floor. I was thinking it was impossible to use the stairs since i have my luggage and super heavy backpack with me! so i waited. and waited. and again, waiting for the elevator!.. but Sam, my roomate decided to just use the stairs, i felt bad tho he was carrying tons of stuff so i tried helping him. before that tho, the elevator opened and people told me to just chuck my suitcase in there and just pick it up on the 3rd floor. so I did.

Like last year, i have to stay with 3 other people, Mario (percussion), Sam (flute), and Peter (Trumpet). the room was smaller than last year but thats because it has a mini kitchen with complete cooking untencils, unlike SUNPEAKS festival. look how the room looks like. click. click. click.

Sam was our vegetarian chef, that dude knows how to cook. We had a *50$ IGA GIFT CARD* which we can spend on our food and stuff that we need for 4days and 3 nights. so we went shopping right after unpacking and organizing our room. We bought few things and i juz had to have my BACON and TOMATO. we bought some cereals and milk too, with apple juice and sausages. vegies for our vegetarian roomate Sam and some more stuff i cant remember. I was fun going food shopping on our own, Ive never gone grocery shopping alone before so it was all exctiting, i had hard time picking the right LETTUCE tho. damn i didnt know ther was few kinds, confused the heck outa me!

Sam prepared a meal for us that night, after dinner they taught me how to play 2 games. POKER and JENGA, love it. fuckin love it. i never thought it was that fun plying it with friends. it was confusing at first but hey poker is awesome! it was my first time playing it and damn, i was kicking their asses! plus JENGA, wAAhhaa. i beat Mario! love the game, its awesome.

I tried turning on my laptop cause Mario need it to check his Bank. i was crossing my fingers and hoping that thers a FREE WIFI connection we could use. and luckily ther was. but it was VERY SLOW, but hey its better than nothing! Roomate barrowed my compture and talked to his GF ’till 1-2am i guess. He was having trouble using a foncard to call her, luckily MSN could somehow connect. lucky him!
